Seems the killers, thieves and liars commonly called governments cannot steal at the same rate they spend. This is why many “cities” are filing for bankruptcy. The latest may be Detroit, Michigan.
So today I saw an article about dissolving the city of Detroit. Do we need more evidence they are talking about fictions? They are talking about corporations, figments of the imagination, not geographic area. Yes, they talk about the city having jurisdiction over a certain territory. All that means is some group of people have control over other people in a particular area. This is based on a certain “code” or “law”. Facts the code is applicable to those they impose themselves on?

The whole Palestinian statehood debate should also be a big giveaway. Wow, a geographic area without a state? Whocouldathunkit?

These cities are not really bankrupt. They will, however, declare bankruptcy rather than admit that they are sitting on mountains of cash, liquid assets, pension funds and other investments, that they keep off-budget.
