Facts About Attack Against Adam Kokesh

Posted on July 16th, 2016 by Marc Stevens

In this video I present the facts about the attack against Adam Kokesh.  Adam bought some land in Arizona, it is located within the imaginary boundaries called Yavapai County.  These lines are no different than the parish boundaries for the Catholic Church; just because you are physically within those boundaries, doesn’t mean you’re within the church.

David Williams, an employee of the county government, did not like that Adam started building and doing improvements on land Adam owned outright without first getting permission from Williams.  Williams believes a written instrument from 1910 creates an obligation on Adam to comply with Williams’s demands.

I spoke with Williams on the phone and he was unable to provide any evidence his claim against Adam is true.  He believes the constitution and code apply to Adam because he’s physically in Arizona, but he admittedly cannot prove it.

Rather than leave Adam alone until he had evidence of jurisdiction, Williams chose to escalate the matter.  While he is telling people Adam chose the hearing, he neglects to mention he only offered Adam a false choice, either an admin hearing or a criminal prosecution.  Despite a third option, acting in good faith and consistent with due process by dropping his attack until he had evidence of jurisdiction, Williams only went with escalation.

I contacted the County Board of Supervisors in an effort to stop escalation, I spoke to Jack Smith, the chairman.  Smith was admittedly not able to prove the constitution and code applied to Adam and agreed to speak with Williams and ask that the matter not be escalated until evidence of jurisdiction was presented.  Smith did not keep his word, instead kicking the can to Craig Brown, district four supervisor.

Despite many messages by phone and email about the situation, Brown never responded.  No one on the Board of Supervisors could present any facts proving the constitution and code apply to Adam just because he’s physically in Arizona.  Neither could one of their attorneys, Jack Fields.

Despite the lack of evidence, Williams was permitted to escalate the matter and Adam has been summoned to an administrative hearing in Prescott, Arizona on 9 August 2016.  I will be assisting.

One thing is certain about the hearing, Williams and his accomplices will still not be able to prove the constitution and code apply to Adam just because he is physically in Arizona.

Adam also posted a video to his YouTube channel detailing his legal attack:

You’re brilliant Marc! Better than any lawyer!

@Boxer You must have me confused with freedom hater Joe Biggs. I wrote the book on freedom:

Well it has been a long time coming, but all along there have been discussions behind closed doors (never in public) that the Administrative Law Courts established with the New Deal were totally unfounded and unconstitutional.

Desert! Wow. That is a huge ruling, in my opinion. Thanks for sharing it.

Good work, Marc. Boxer, I think you’ve got it spot on. I hope David Koresh, I mean Adam Kokesh, prevails in his desire to peaceably live on his land and share his message of love and community.

oh, never mind…disregard my previous remark…i seriously doubt you will listen anyway

    Uh, er… previous remark?

    Yeah, what previous remark???

  10. PatriotOne Says:

    i would ask David Williams:
    1) what facts and supporting evidence do you rely upon that prove your code applies upon Adam?
    2) what facts and supporting evidence do you rely upon to prove that you, David, possess standing to apply your code upon Adam?

“@Boxer You must have me confused with freedom hater Joe Biggs. I wrote the book on freedom:”

I followed some of you for a bit until I was finally able to break free from the religious chains of “statism”. I think you may still believe in it a bit based on your statement in an interview with Alex Jones when you said:

“Well I think that’s one of the great opportunities that we have in the american political system with this concept of sovereign states….”

Regardless, I’d much rather see you on Marc’s site and welcome you towards your journey to anarchy (if you haven’t already started it).

  12. Calvin Says:

@Boxer: I don’t know… I think Adam makes certain appeals to statists in effort to find common ground to help bring them closer to the ideas of voluntaryism, as you see in his recent video to Bernie supporters. I don’t consider him a statist, and he seems to fully embrace voluntaryism; he’s just trying to broaden the appeal of the message of freedom.

    *some of your work

  14. NonEntity Says:

    * <- referant?

  15. Boxer Says:

Is your request addressed to me?

  16. NonEntity Says:

Boxer, yes. You have an asterisk followed by something which is meaningless to me. And I can’t find the corresponding asterisk for the referent.

  17. Incubus Says:

The asterisk was meant to show a grammatical correction, indicating he meant to say “some of your work”.

  18. steve Says:

Perhaps, instead of fighting government (and subsequently adhering to their rules) you should challenge this another way. What if, by proving their case in a rather novel way, you prove, in a court of their own laws, that theft and control of land is either “accepted” or not. Should if be accepted them you have the right to take, by reasonable force, the property for use as you so see fit. Should it not then the colonist’s that came to the land now known under the name United States of America (herein known under the corporate name of THE UNITES STATES) stole the land and therefore no rules apply.

It should be noted that, like the “Crown” of the United Kingdom, the U.S. has adopted a rule that the government cannot be taken to justice unless they agree to it.

Yes, if we follow that old phrase… the tree of liberty is thirsty… let’s nourish it!

  19. NonEntity Says:

Ah, sorta like, “…followed some of you for a bit…” should be, “…some of your work for a bit…” like that?

  20. Incubus Says:

That’s correct. It’s common in internet and texting slang. Used to correct something misspelled or not grammatically correct.

“Are yor pet zombies still alive?”

    Are your*

“Zombies doesn’t eat brains. That’s an outdated and nasty stereotype.”

    Zombies don’t*

  21. Jarrod Says:

No, put the asterisk first. It’s more comon.
