Say what you will about Jehovah's witnesses, but they refuse bear arms in any wars. They don't vote, and they steer clear of politics and government. Unfortunately, they fall for the "Give unto Caesar" crap and pay all the protection racket money...er, I mean "Taxes" that anyone demands from them.

I've heard that Amish people refuse to have social security numbers. Does this mean they also refuse to file income tax returns on religious grounds? Don't know.

Just saw online that Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan has publicly stated she will no longer pay taxes to the federal government on moral grounds. She's tried writing to congress, protesting, going on radio shows. Looks like she finally came to the same conclusion as Stevens - withdraw consent from the evil sociopaths who pretend to be the state.
