slogans, catch phrases, succinct lines
There are some excellent slogans and catch phrases for succinct communication regarding NoState, voluntary association, anarchy, etc, that make for valuable mindset challenging tools, as well as personal reminders, eg:

[list][*]There is no State.
[*]Bringing about a voluntary society one visitor at a time.
[*]A law is an opinion backed by a gun.
[*]What is the constitution factually?
[*]What product or service are you personally willing to shoot somebody over?
[*]What product or service should be provided at the barrel of a gun?
[*] [fill in the blank][/list:u]

What've I left off?

Regarding the shooting/barrel of a gun aspect, it seems many submitizens/Statists consider the overwhelming majority of local gun barrel usage to actually be "defensive" (non-initiationitory/per the "Social Contract"), I wonder if it might be possible to come up with a similar succinct phrase to question and challenge that aspect of thinking/justification? Any ideas?

"Forum winners are those who understand the power of triggered emotions and that the sole purpose of an argument is to stray as far as humanly possible from issues and to stay laser focused on belittling your rival with the choicest of pejoratives." ~Srini Chandra

I personally like this one, mostly, because I think it has more "sales appeal" to a statist than the others. But perhaps the wording could be made a bit less [strike]realistic[/strike] hyperbolic so as to not draw an immediate mental rejection. Maybe something like:

[*]What product or service are you personally willing to threaten somebody with fines or jail in order to pay for?

- NonE

- NonE .).

"I just don't understand how this happens." Undecided

Re: slogans, catch phrases, succinct lines
The means aren't consistent with the ends.

The means contradict the ends.

The thought of how far the human race would have advanced absent initiatory force
staggers the imagination.

THE POINT: Unlike the government thief, a common thief doesn't claim his "craft" is honest.
Lawyer-like dishonesty a point: The common thief is honest when he tells you he's robbing you.
