I use the screen name FormerlyBrainwashed because it reminds me and anyone who might read what I have to say, that I know where I came from. That is, I know specifically what worldview used to guide my life in thought and action, and why. It also serves as a personal declaration of individualism. Since I have no interest/desire to compete in any sort of popularity contest, I am pleased to claim the title of individual, and that of one who is NO LONGER brainwashed.

That wasn't intended to mean that I am perfect and every currently held presupposition is acurate. Only that I am certain that I think for myself. Trust me, I would be the first to admit that "thinking" and what "thinking" produces (i.e. worldview/total network of presuppositions), is ever changing...

I used to be "Kurgan" back in the 90s... but then EVERYONE started using that screen name. So, I just thought up something that I didn't think anyone would take... so far, I've been correct

Lo Teks were the underground resistence in Johnny Nmeumonic lead by Ice T. They were good folks in my eyes

Junky... well, junky cuz I love the noncompliance attitude of those Lo Teks trying to wake up the masses to the lies they were being fed. I think it kinda fits me.
