Trading Up – Alternative to the Credit System

Posted on June 17th, 2011 by Marc Stevens

I heard about the one red paperclip a few years ago and loved the concept of using barter to trade up.  Kyle MacDonald started trading up with one red paperclip and in 14 trades, reached his goal, a house.  That’s pretty cool and motivating.

When you see threats like this from people like Anne Tompkins, people who create no value and have no voluntary support, I’m even more motivated to also do it:

ann“Attempts to undermine the legitimate currency of this country are simply a unique form of domestic terrorism…While these forms of anti-government activities do not involve violence, they are every bit as insidious and represent a clear and present danger to the economic stability of this country…We are determined to meet these threats through infiltration, disruption and dismantling of organizations which seek to challenge the legitimacy of our democratic form of government.”

Welcome to a world where terrorism doesn’t involve violence and violence is legitimate way to do business if you call yourself a government:  “War is Peace…Freedom is Slavery…Ignorance is Strength” and non-violence is terrorism.

I’m all for bartering and free trade, even more so if some consider it undermining the credit system of the Federal Reserve, made “legal tender” by their co-conspirators, the criminal cartel called the United States government.  My goal is to help build a free market and through non-violent means, put the credit system and governments out of business.  So I’m trading up also.

To get things going a little faster than starting with a paperclip, I’m offering a set of my products: motion templates, court script, Adventures in Legal Land eBook, and MP3’s of a seminar (usually $82) for a barter I will then use to trade up.  All have been used to help resolve attacks from bureaucrats and limit the amount of damage they wanted to do; from traffic tickets to tax assessments and drug possession charges.

The goal is to trade up for a house free and clear as Kyle MacDonald in the video did.  This will provide another working model to avoid using credit; that it’s possible to get a house without using credit and getting into debt for thirty years or more.  I hope to encourage more people to rely less and less on the Federal Reserve.  The more working alternatives to the credit system, the more likely the market may utilize them.

Governments are anti-choice – this is about bringing the market more choices.  People need to know there are alternatives to the credit system responsible for bringing about such economic devastation as the 2008 housing crash and it’s continued aftermath.

This will not only be an example of a “unique form of domestic terrorism”, but also non-violent, non-cooperation as no taxes will be paid on any trades.  When a house is ultimately traded, then no property taxes will be paid.  I’m also interested in finding out how much of my living expenses can be taken care of with bartering and other alternatives to credit.  I’ll be posting videos and articles tracking each trade, maybe there will something you’re interested in trading.

If you’re interested in participating and helping build a free market you can contact me on the forum, email and on the radio show with something to trade.  The No State Project, helping to make governments irrelevant, is live every Sat from 4-7pm est and the call in number is (218) 632-9399.
