Posted on August 17th, 2013 by Calvin

Co-host: Calvin and Guest: Sam, who joins us to share his conscientious experiences as a law enforcement officer.

Show Notes:

Caller’s Topics:

  • Ben from FL: issued a citation this morning for inoperable tail-light with a $116 fine upon a guilty conviction, challenging a traffic citation on an evidentiary basis, and the predictable and reproducible results as described in Adventures in Legal Land.
  • Terry from MI: update on court hearing this past Monday for dogs running lose and without tags with the lingering threat of 90+ days of jail, judge tries to manipulate Terry into arguing the motion, the prosecutor claims the motion was “frivolous” and “gibberish,” the judge denies motions without stating his grounds, and how to contact the prosecution to ask them questions of evidence.
  • Evan from CA: no response to a request for judicial notice which ended up being denied without grounds, filing a lawsuit in attempt to get the STATE to drop their baseless assertions.
  • Rio from FL: court not accepting paperwork because its “not properly formatted and filed,” calling the prosecution to question them them on the existence of evidence, and sharing the show with other cognitive individuals.
  • Dan from ME: filing a motion to dismiss for a operating a vehicle while suspended, how to proceed if the judge denies the motion and railroads a guilty verdict, and calling out bulling tactics on-the-fly in court.

*NotE: purposely vague and subjective. Now what is he going to say, really? Hilarious

  2. NonE Says:

Calvinator, Hmph. I don’t think you’re playing fair. In fact, it’s possible you’re being a big meanie! – NonE

  3. Calvin Says:

I will recognize there is a smudge of authoritarianism there, but as it was a persistent theme on today’s show, I suppose its causing me to involuntarily sneeze totalitarian rhetoric. I will wipe my nose and wash my hands clean of my sins at church tomorrow, good luck till then… 😈 😉

  4. NonE Says:

Calvin Sed: …but as it was a persistent theme on today’s show…
——–Now that… THAT is just cruel!

  5. Calvin Says:

Forgive me? …or not, considering I linked youtube videos for reference leaving you victim to the wrath of the bandwidth Gods?

  6. Calvin Says:

There now, I have filed down my horns and got the podcast posted within a more normal time-frame.

Halo ops-check good, zero authoritarian pressure in the meanie cylinder, clean runway and clear skies. Next stop; redemptionville.

ps – Great show! I hope we have more government employees on, especially those like Sam who are willing to have a rational discussion of facts and evidence behind the concept of the STATE. 🙂

  7. Dan Says:

So what is the book on how long Sam is a cop from here on out?

——DUDE! Don’t tell me that is an actual sentence. Is it supposed to mean something? If so, how about translating it into English? – NonE

  9. Chris Says:

Cop call (seems a nice guy, we need more of them)
See jthomasniu.org/class/Stuff/PDF/vanmanah.pdf for what seems to me a good analysis

  10. Pete Says:

Ahhh, so nice to enjoy my 15 minutes of No-State fame! And so fun to hear Marc Stevens take the dismissal order and spike it in the end zone.

You are obviously not a gambler. He’s saying what’s the chance he’s a real cop?

  12. RadicalDude Says:

Or, actually, how long do you wanna bet he stays a cop, something like that, I think? You know like “booking” a bet? That’s kind of how I take it.

  13. Dan Says:

Oh I am sorry, what is the over and under for the time left that Sam is a cop?

  14. indio007 Says:

    Just a couple comments,
Police are not liable for a warrant unless defect on their face.
Judges have liability if there is no jurisdiction.

The officer provided evidence of quotas. Highly illegal. It’s basically inducing someone to commit entrapments.

  15. indio007 Says:

    Forgot one,
The party trying to get the warrant and making the affidavit if liable for perjury and whatever injuries are committed as a result of a false accusation.

  16. NonE Says:

RadicalDude Sed:You are obviously not a gambler. He’s saying what’s the chance he’s a real cop? —- Nope, notta gambler. Thanks for the translation. Sorry for letting my Grammar Nazi Flag fly so high! 😉 – NonEquipedToHandleTheReputationI’mCreating
