NSP – Sept 26, 2015

Posted on September 28th, 2015 by Calvin

We again respond to the common misconception that, despite the evidence to the contrary, challenging jurisdiction “never works.”

Show Notes:

Caller’s Topics:

  • Patriot One from FL: the immediacy of the demands from bureaucrats that starkly contrasts with their torturously lengthy response times <> people fleeing failed states <> and tax incentives that keep property trashy in Detroit; “the system is designed to rot.”
  • Jeremy from AZ: receiving escalated harassment from aggressive police patrol force squads <> Denver police beat man to death, luckily he was able to be resuscitated <> responding to a number of complaints maturing in the court system <> asking for the evidence and statutes cops rely on to enforce their commands <> what’s the significance of the signature on government paperwork? <> and the real nature of “infractions.”
  • Joe from HI: handling ongoing traffic and cannabis possession legal-attacks <> how possible is it to challenge the evidence of jurisdiction midway through a case? <> catching a public defender lying and using intimidation tactics red-handed that led to their investigation <> the difficulty of getting discovery from the prosecution, supposedly because of the shift to pro per causing delays <> competency hearings that are meant to marginalize the defendant and their questions so that the lawyers don’t have to answer tough questions <> where is reference material on Socratic questioning? <> and making progress by asking the right questions.

To further prove Marc’s repeated statement that the government will move to dismiss when it’s being sued.
The US government has asked a D.C. court to dismiss the case of a Yemeni man whose family members were killed by a US drone strike, on the basis that he has no legal ‘standing’ to bring a case against them.

  5. Marie Says:

Hey, anyone know the best way to respond to a presecutor, when you say “this case has no standing” and he/she says “this is traffic court!! I dont need standing!”…

Also when I asked if traffic court was civil or criminal jurisdiction, her answer was “uhh.. Its quasi-criminal”

Never heard of quasi-criminal before, are they just making this stuff up as they go along?
